I want to spend some time with you, at least virtually!
I want to talk about gratitude. This is how I feel. Grateful. This is one of the most incredible emotions that exist. Over the years I have also understood that it is a basic ingredient for happiness.
I don’t know if you have ever seen the movie “The Secret”, or if you have read the book. If you haven’t, I really suggest you to do it as soon as possible. It is about the power we have to attract into our lives whatever we focus on.
Sometimes I laugh thinking that somebody misunderstands the concept and believes that the law of attraction is a sort of magic trick to materialize thoughts.
I ardently think about an elephant and…puf! An elephant appears in my house! I think I’ll get an A+ at an exam and…puf! Here is my A+, without even taking the exam!
No, the law of attraction is not this. What the book says is that everything is a vibration. If you broke out an atom, you would see that it is made up of energy, just like me, you and everything else. Everything vibrates with a different frequency and we can tune on the frequency that we like! We can tune on the wealth frequency, on the passion frequency, on the joy one. But also on the complaining frequency, or on the anger one, or on the guilt frequency.
That’s it, sensations and emotions are our way to regulate the frequency. It is like choosing our favorite radio station. And gratitude is the station of happiness!
Try to do this exercise: think about 5 things that you are grateful for today. Pay attention, you have to do it seriously. I told you that we change frequency thanks to our feelings, not our thoughts. So, think about those things, and then take a moment to feel the sensation that comes from them.
I assure you that if you get the habit to do this exercise every day you’ll see changes.
I know it is a hard concept to digest….but let’s do this: just try!
If you get results, you can do it again every time you want. Obviously I want to point out that, besides feeling positive sensations, you also need to take a big amount of actions, if you really want to get something done! But the feeling that moves your actions makes a huge difference in the outcome you will have. I can assure you!
